Color Crayons Blanket
Pattern Notes
đ§śThis pattern is worked from the bottom up and turned for each new row. It can be worked as one piece or you can work. the crayons separately and join them (pattern included for doing so).
đ§śLeft-hand hook holders follow this pattern as written, noting that the âright sideâ [RS] is actually the âwrong sideâ [WS] for you. This means when you crochet even rows, you will be able to read the words. If you consult the graph, remember to read right to left on odd rows & left to right on even rows.
đ§śThis pattern can be made with any weight yarn & hook, but the finished size is approximately 50x63 inches using the yarn & hook listed below to complete a 6-crayon blanket.
Crayons names included are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Purple, and Pink.

HP Blanket Mod: Spell Phrases & Words
â ď¸YOU WILL NEED THE HP MISCHIEF MANAGED BLANKET TO USE THESE LETTERING PANEL MODSâ ď¸
Pictures are just EXAMPLES using this HP Blanket Mod Pattern AND the original HP Blanket.
Pattern Notes
- You will need the Mischief Managed (Harry Potter) Blanket pattern to use these wording panels as show on the cover examples.
- All the word panels are worked from the bottom up.
- Spell phrases (ex. âExpecto Patromunâ) are meant to be kept together as one panel.
- Make sure to turn the blanket so you can read the words as you work the initial sc edging to set up for the border.
- Using more than spell word/phrase in a blanket: Make sure you can read your first lettered panel when you start each following lettered panel.
- Using more than one word in a blanket: This gets a little hard for me to explain well. Basically, you need to note during Row 1 of âyour first word which side is the [RS] according to the pattern markings. Then you need to be sure an begin each following word panel with the same side facing you so that each new word will face the same direction as the others.
HP Blanket Mod: Snuggle this Muggle
â ď¸YOU WILL NEED THE HP MISCHIEF MANAGED BLANKET TO USE THESE LETTERING PANEL MODSâ ď¸
Pictures are just EXAMPLES using this HP Blanket Mod Pattern AND the original HP Blanket.
Snuggle this Muggle! This HP Mod pattern comes with two different versions of the wording "Snuggle this Muggle' to be used as a grouped set of words or to place as you like along with the other HP Blanket panels.
Pattern Notes
- You will need the Mischief Managed (Harry Potter) Blanket pattern to use these wording panels as show on the cover examples.
- SNUGGLE THIS MUGGLE comes with two options: the phrase grouped together (p.3-4) or the words broken up (p.4-5).
- All the word panels are worked from the bottom up - so be sure that if you are breaking them up you work âmuggleâ first.
- Make sure to turn the blanket so you can read the words as you work the initial sc edging to set up for the border.
- Words grouped together: follow the pattern as written.
- Breaking up the word panels: begin with âmuggle.â Make sure you can read âmuggleâ when you start âthis,âand then again when you begin âsnuggle.â
- Words grouped together: Follow the pattern as written.
- Breaking up the word panels: This gets a little hard for me to explain well. Basically, you need to note during Row 1 of âmuggleâ which side is the [RS] according to the pattern markings. Then you need to be sure an begin each following word panel with the same side facing you so that each new word will face the same direction as the others.

November Shawl
Pattern Notes
- This pattern can be worked with any weight yarn and hook but I created the pattern using a hand dyed sock yarn (80% Superwash Merino + 20% Nylon) dyed by Northern Bee Studio in the âWantonâ color way.Â
- The fabric created from this pattern is meant to be soft, loose, and stretchy. If you choose to use DK yarn, then I would recommend a 6mm-6.5mm hook. Keep in mind that if you choose to block your work, it should be very stretchy and will grow in size during this process.
- The base width of the pattern is 20 inches wide unblocked - and this changes to 25â blocked (stretching the width tight to its widest). The length will be a matter of personal preference. The yardage listed below should be plenty for all length preferences, as mine is over 7 feet at its unblocked lengthâŚwhich is awesome in my opinion (endless styling options at that size) but probably longer than most would prefer.
- 800 yards (or 200g) in sock weight yarn
- 5mm Hook

- New to Mayhem & Majesty Triangle Shawl patterns? Please read the Help Guide on page 3 of this pattern before attempting to begin.
- Graphs shaped like a triangle shawl donât exist. For that reason, none has been provided for this pattern. I believe providing the graph I used would cause more confusion than help because it canât be read like a normal blanket graph. However, I am happy to provide you a copy if you ask - just drop me an email.
