Pattern Notes

🧶This pattern is worked from the bottom up and turned for each new row. It can be worked as one piece or you can work. the crayons separately and join them (pattern included for doing so).

🧶Left-hand hook holders follow this pattern as written, noting that the ‘right side’ [RS] is actually the ‘wrong side’ [WS] for you. This means when you crochet even rows, you will be able to read the words. If you consult the graph, remember to read right to left on odd rows & left to right on even rows.

🧶This pattern can be made with any weight yarn & hook, but the finished size is approximately 50×63 inches using the yarn & hook listed below to complete a 6-crayon blanket.

Crayons names included are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Purple, and Pink.

  • Amount Per Crayon: 355 yards worsted weight
  • One-Piece Border: 200 yards worsted weight
  • Granny Stitch Joined Crayons + 2 Border Rounds: 500 yards white
