Pattern Notes
- This pattern is worked from the bottom up and turned for each new row.
- Left-hand hook holders follow this pattern as written, noting that the odd rows (‘right side’ [RS] ) are actually the ‘wrong side’ [WS] for you. This means when you crochet even rows, you will be able to read the words. If you consult the graph, remember to read right to left on odd rows & left to right on even rows.
- A graph for this pattern can be found in a separate file.
- The finished size is approximately 54 by 62 inches (137 by 158 cm) using the yarn weight & hook listed below. You can create a smaller blanket by using DK (#3/4ply/light worsted)weight yarn.
Yarn & Supplies - Worsted Weight (#4/8-ply/Aran) yarn

- White: 1,083 yards (990 m)
- Sc or Crab St Border (shown in white): 80 yards (73 m)

November Shawl
Pattern Notes
- This pattern can be worked with any weight yarn and hook but I created the pattern using a hand dyed sock yarn (80% Superwash Merino + 20% Nylon) dyed by Northern Bee Studio in the ‘Wanton’ color way.
- The fabric created from this pattern is meant to be soft, loose, and stretchy. If you choose to use DK yarn, then I would recommend a 6mm-6.5mm hook. Keep in mind that if you choose to block your work, it should be very stretchy and will grow in size during this process.
- The base width of the pattern is 20 inches wide unblocked - and this changes to 25” blocked (stretching the width tight to its widest). The length will be a matter of personal preference. The yardage listed below should be plenty for all length preferences, as mine is over 7 feet at its unblocked length…which is awesome in my opinion (endless styling options at that size) but probably longer than most would prefer.
- 800 yards (or 200g) in sock weight yarn
- 5mm Hook
Spiderwebs Shawl (October’s Shawl)
First, you can find all the info for the Song Shawl CAL in this post.
- This pattern can be worked with any weight yarn and hook.
- Size - 70 inches measured on the straight side (increase to increase) and 32 inches measure up the center (along the center corner line).
- A Note on gauge + yardage - Hobbii Azalea (Color #9) was used to create this pattern. My exact yardage was 874 yards. My gauge was 18dc + 10 rows = 4 inches. I used one whole cake.
- New to Mayhem & Majesty Triangle Shawl patterns? Please read the Help Guide on page 3 of this pattern before attempting to begin.
- Graphs shaped like a triangle shawl don’t exist. For that reason, none has been provided for this pattern. I believe providing the graph I used would cause more confusion than help because it can’t be read like a normal blanket graph. However, I am happy to provide you a copy if you ask - just drop me an email.

There are FOUR versions of the 2022 Christmas Filet CAL. 3 one-piece blankets and a joined Granny Block Blanket. Both feature the same 12 gorgeous ornament designs. Well, technically, I think there are 5 versions - but no tester chose to do a solid-color blanket - but you could!
In worsted (aran) weight the blanket will be the perfect size to use on the couch when the air gets a little chilly. Of course you can choose to make your blanket larger by adding more panels/rows/blocks or ornaments...or by using a chunky weight yarn (use a 6mm hook for Chunky) to give it some extra squishy warmth! The Christmas CAL blankets can also be made smaller/lighter y using a DK weight yarn (use a 4mm hook for DK).
Granny Block Blanket Supply List - 46x46 inches
- 137 yards worsted weight yarn for ONE block (includes the sc edging)
- 22 yards per block for the granny round (using joining-as-you-go to join all the blocks)
