I want to make a LARGER (or smaller) blanket —

Increase (or decrease) your blanket width in sets of 24 stitches to add (or remove) tiles to the width. You’ll need to repeat the given ( )x width repeat in each row by however many tiles you added/subtracted. For example, if the row says ( )x5 and you would like to add 2 tiles (48 sts) to the width, then for all ( )x5 rows you will be doing ( )x7. Same for an ( )x10 row – you would then be doing ( )x12. DIY Custom Sizing for DK

One moroccan tile uses approximately 66 yards (60 meters) of yarn and is approximately 6 inches wide by 9 inches tall (15 by 23 cm). Use these amounts to multiple by how many tiles wide and high your would like you blanket to be and plan the size and yardage needed.

DIY Custom Sizing for Worsted

One moroccan tile uses approximately 79 yards (72 meters) of yarn and is approximately 7 inches wide by 11.5 inches tall (18 by 29 cm). Use these amounts to multiple by how many tiles wide and high your would like you blanket to be and plan the size and yardage needed.

One of my favorites of Mayhem and Majesty! I worked this one with a deep garnet and trimmed in gold, most elegant blanket I’ve ever made! Beautiful pattern!!! So easy to understand and the border is perfect
