- This pattern can be worked as written for both right & left hand hook holders. If needed, be sure to read the graph from the correct direction: odd rows are read right to left; even rows are read left to right. As a left hand hook holder, when crocheting the EVEN rows the right side will be facing you.

GC - Granny Cluster: 3dc in same stitch
GCD - Granny Cluster Decrease: dc in st, dc2tog starting in the same st as previous dc and ending in the next st, then make another dc into same st the dc2tog finished in - you should have a 3dc “granny cluster” that is spread over 2 sc sts. Video Tutorial

- This pattern is worked from the bottom up and turned for each new row. The filet portion is symmetrical and can be worked as written for either right or left hand hook holders. Border directions or given for right & left hand hooks.

- This pattern can be made with any weight yarn & hook. Sizing and yarn amounts are given below for the blanket shown on the cover as well as an individual granny block.
- This pattern can be increased/decreased in multiples of 53 stitches across and 32 rows up to make any size blanket. CUSTOM SIZE Row 1: FDC a multiple of 53 (or chain a multiple of 53 +2 more; dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across, ch3 at beginning counts as base chain+first dc).
