This was my first ever filet project and I followed along when it was the 2020 CAL. Now I have a whole library of Becca’s patterns. And with this pack you can do squares to make one blanket or even a blanket for each months design. So many options!

This pattern can be worked with any weight yarn and hook, but finished sizes and generous yarn amounts are provided for DK yarn.
Yarn amounts and sizing are given for both joinable blocks and a one-piece baby blanket (2 animals wide by 2 animals high).
This pattern can be increased in multiples of 55 sts and 30 rows to make any size blanket.

Blanket & Blocks: You can make either the gnomes one-piece blanket, joinable gnome granny blocks, or use the block patterns to create a custom one-piece using the gnomes you like best.
Yarn amounts are given with 10% added to my personal usage to help ensure all crocheters have enough yarn to complete their project; however, if you know you crochet particularly loose, then you may want to have additional yarn on hand just in case.
One-Piece Blanket Finished Size is approximately 34 by 42 inches (86 by 106.5 cm) using DK yarn, a 4mm hook, and given border.
OneGranny Block is approximately 21 by 17” inches (53cm by 43cm).

Supplies - One Piece Blanket
Blanket Body: 1,492 yards (1386m) DK yarn total [373 yards (341m) per gnome]
This blanket has 2 customizable lettering panels. There is room for:
2 special date (year or full month/day/year),
Family name
The custom panels can also be used for any words you'd like, provided they fit.

This pattern is worked as one piece from the bottom up. I have marked the different panels in the pattern so you can change colors as desired.
This is a large blanket. Finished Size: Approximately is 67 x 67/72 inches (125/131 rows tall - depending on length of Last Name, which changes the placement of 'the')
Hook: 4mm
Blanket Body: ~3,500 yards DK yarn
Border: ~322 yards DK yarn
Left handed? It doesn’t matter - just crochet this blanket as written. My patterns have been tested by left-handed crocheters and this does not effect the lettering panels.

Creation Timeline -
Step One: within 24 hours of payment I will email you to personally confirm your order. This is NOT the "Thank you for your order, here are your downloads" email you get immediately after purchase. This personal sent email will come after the system-sent purchase email. In this email, I will double check the spelling and placement of your lettering as well as the stitch width you need.
Step Two: within 5 days of your reply to my personal confirmation, I will email you a proof of your custom design so you can double check the spelling of the names.
Step Three: within 5 days of your confirmation of the name spellings you will have final delivery of your custom blanket pattern! You will receive an email from me containing both the Numerical Pattern and Graphs.
