2020 Filet CAL: January Wrap-Up

posted in: 2020 Filet CAL, Crochet, Free Pattern | 2

I have to honestly admit that when I had the idea for this CAL last fall, I wasn’t really sure it would take off.

But then in the last couple days of December, when my email list began growing exponentially…well, then I began to freak out that I’d have to make the move out of Mailchimp’s free tier before the CAL had even official started!

Needless to say, the CAL took off far better than I could have imagined.

I’m thrilled to see all the snowmen blocks and panels popping up over on Instagram and in our CAL Facebook group.

It’s so much fun!

I only found ONE Winter Wonderland snowman blanket though, stitched by the lovely Emma Moss of @stitchedupbyemma.

Emma is also one of the CAL hostesses, and you can learn more about Emma here.

<— I’ve got three different block blankets in the works this year. DK, Aran, and Chunky! My kiddos will have so many blankets this year, there won’t be any complaints (haha…ha).

Remember, the block patterns will be free forever here on my blog. BUT the Newsletter is where you can get your monthly CAL pattern set -block, panel, blanket, and bonus design- each month for free. At the close of each month, the PDF pattern sets head to my Etsy Shop.

Use the special code in your subscriber welcome email to get any missed month pattern packs at 50% off.

It’s been an exciting start to the 2020 Filet CAL and I hope you’ll continue to make along with us!

Happy Hooking!
